My Tributes to Two Bold Brothers

The first of these tributes goes out to Major General J. Gary Cooper, USMC, Ret. My first encounter with the "General" was when I was a freshman in high school at our alma mater in Mobile...Most Pure Heart of Mary. We were told that we were going to have a speaker to visit, and to be on our best and most courteous behavior. That was meant for us knuckleheaded guys sitting in the back of the class.

Enter our speaker, Captain J. Gary Cooper, about 6'5", in Marine "dress browns" with squared chin and equally squared shoulders.  He put his hat on the teacher's desk, adjusted his podium to be straight with the line of sight, looked up, and didn't say a word for about five seconds. We guys automatically sat at attention, looking attentively straight ahead, with nary a peep. Somehow, his disciplined gaze gave the impression, that he could snap our "chicken necks" before uttering a word. Gary never knew, but I never met a black man with that sort of innate ability to get you on the "straight and narrow."  I told him this after his retirement from the Corps, and it's true once a Marine, always a Marine. However, he was one of the most humble guys I ever met as a civilian. Later on Gary would provide a letter of recommendation for me to start my graduate work at Virginia Tech.

My second tribute is to Samuel Hasan. This tribute is somewhat very close and personal, for Sam told me he was recovering from a heart attack, that caught him off guard, leaving him a little bit concerned about his mortality. It is as if some of his spirit for life had been zapped out of him with his near death experience. My reason for contacting Sam was to engage him for one of my business ventures in the Mobile area...as a consultant. Sam declined, but I'm not giving up on him and will persist in getting him back into "fighting mode." If you are challenged by death, go down swinging while doing something you believe in, giving the devil of death his due, to the point that the devil looks into the heavens and says, this was one hell of a fighter.

Anyway, I first met Sam, while distributing the "Muhammad Speaks" newspaper. He was working for a little furniture store in Prichard, AL. He asked a few questions and I invited him to the Temple as I had done so many other guys before him, with few taking me up on the invitation. Sam made a visit and was impressed to the point of becoming a member, as I was impressed when I became a member out in California about two years earlier.

Sam became Mr. Muhammad's secretary, replacing me of which I was moved on to the position of lieutenant in charge of security. This position gave me a bird's eye view of Mr. Muhammad's business operations throughout the southeastern US, with my rendering updates to Chicago. It was on a trip back from Atlanta with Sam, the minister, and myself, that we sold the minister on investing in the first "Steak 'n Take" restaurant on the Gulf Coast. Sam went on to meet his future bride and now is the proud dad of six children...might even be a grandad, never thought to ask. Sam became an owner of a Lincoln-Ford dealership in a small town in Alabama, where we both have ancestral roots...on my grandfather's side. He eventually semi-retired and that's when his "blood pumper" acted up. I asked was it stress that kept him fit and in the fighting spirit, or was it the lack thereof that caused him to become vulnerable? I will call him again by the time he's received this tribute, and see how he stands on challenging life until his time card is punched for the last time.

Broadband to the Rescue??

As I have referred to the modernization of education with the use of broadband, http://infobuck.com/contact.html  I have established an "Online Tutorial Service" enlisting substitute teachers. I'm investing in this educational paradigm, because of my personal research in tutoring my grandson who lives in a different state, but I was able to help him improve in his math class with just two hours a night, four days a week.

I also see broadband offering an opportunity to consolidate colleges and universities, closing many with online courses, allowing more money toward basic K-12 to establish a better educational foundation. I likewise see it as a means of reducing the use of transportation in getting kids back and forth to a bricks 'n mortar location, thus reducing the expense of these structures. For those who can be taught at home online, the schools can thus become smaller aggregational outlets for "testing" and "hands on" instruction where online study is not effective.

This means of course, the past method of education, which appears to becoming more and more administratively bureacratic (head-counting factories) would eventually be reduced to a more personalized "tutorial" process for the health and wellbeing of tomorrow's students.

BYU's Big Man ...out!!

I'm talking about Brigham Young's 6'9" star basketball player, who happens to be black, and who was sidelined, if not expelled for having sex...yes, busted for doing it. It appears he violated the codes of conduct for being a student at the Mormon school. In other words, this young man knew what he signed up for and either too weak to live up to the standard, or feeling "slick enough" to get away with it. He couldn't and didn't.

This might be the most important lesson he may learn in his life...honor the code for which you agreed or don't sign on.  It appears that this is the "major problem" in America's society...not wanting to be held accountable and making excuses when and if we are caught violating certain standards...that goes for those in religion, politics, business, and education.

Stop the lying and crying and sit your hypocritical asses down before it has to be done for or to you.

Virginia...A Labor of Love

2012 is just around the corner, and it's election time again in America's mother state. I am a native of Alabama, but now a lifelong resident of this great state..the birth place of my American hero, Booker T. Washington, who became a resident of Alabama establishing the historic Tuskegee University. I am not saying I will make a contribution to this state anywhere close to the contribution that Booker T. Washington made to the state of Alabama and America, but I will provide the best that I have to offer, and one of those ways will be to vote in the upcoming election, especially this 2012.

Therefore, I feel free to weigh in on the political lay of the land in this founding American state. Former Governor Tim Kaine is being asked to come back to contend with the "Macaca Kid" and I hope that another politically forward-looking Democrat will come back and take on the Ronald Reagan-Pat Robertson spinoff currently in the Governor's chair, Bob McDonnell. Bob McDonnell made a grave mistake by wanting to take Virginia back into the days of the Civil War with some sort of "honorable" commemoration to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, that are no more than remnants of the KKK....google to find out more.

It appears these Republicans who came in during the mid-term election, came in on nothing more than an anti-Obama wave boosted by the Tea-party. Well, the Tea-party has announced their candidate for the governor's post, and you can be assured McDonnell won't get any black voting support this time around; consequently, it could be a golden opportunity for the Democratic candidate...and who better than Rick Boucher? You have to be a "Virginian" to understand.

Cold Case...Resolved?

I have commented often enough of Bob McDonnell's betrayal of black voters by his, shortly after being inaugurated, announcement to celebrate the "Sons Of Confederate Veterans" despite knowing their connection to the Ku Klux Klan. Of course I, like many other blacks, hold in contempt the so-called black leaders who assisted in his (McDonnell's) being elected whether by commission or omission...they drank from the Judas' cup.

Nonetheless, even more despicable was the betrayal and death by blacks of one of America's leaders from Virginia, and that was Booker T. Washington. Washington was to Black America, what Thomas Jefferson was to America itself...developing a path to true freedom. Was it plausible then, that blacks would be in such contempt for this man, that they would conspire with diabolical whites in preventing him from truly freeing his kind for over two centuries of bondage, to become a viable and independent race, like other races who eventually would immigrate to these shores?

Herman Cain...Simply an Obama Spoiler

I have to go "gritty" on this subject, or one might say "street" or others might say "Nigger, Please"!! Young people cover your eyes and ears...here we go.

Herman Cain considers entering the Presidential race for 2012, and I see him as no more than a right wing decoy, sent in to be an Obama spoiler, confusing black folks that think they have been accepted by the white political establishment, such as "Uncle Ruckus" on the Supreme Court. Will the niggers continued to be misled by these "fools"? I don't think so...

This Herman Cain campaign reminds me of the "nappy-headed nigger" who looked as though he hadn't combed his hair since he's had it. No platform, just proclaiming the "canonization" of Ronald Reagan when they threw his black ass, married to a white woman, into the Illinois senatorial campaign against Barack Obama, and Barack whipped him like he stole or about to steal something, and would do the same with Herman Cain, if the nigger ever got that far. Cain would amount to no more than a "rented mule" from Georgia.

A Contract From Hell??

"A leaked intelligence report suggests Iran will be awarded with exclusive access to Zimbabwe's uranium in return for providing the country with fuel." Here we have the rulers of two dictatorial regimes who have made a pact, and the rest of the world can do little or nothing about it.

The shia regime of Iran is gloating over the turmoil in the sunni Arab world of dictators, while at the same time thumbing its nose at the west and Israel. Robert Mugabe is hell bent on carrying out Hitler's totalitarianism even if it carries genocidal attributes for his own people...outside of his political clique. Again, there's very little the US or anybody else can do.

These individuals are products of western colonialism and imperialism respectively, going back to the shah of Iran and the abuse by the former apartheid rule of Rhodesia...unfortunately, what goes around comes around, and this cannot be denied. The arc always bends with "justice" at the end, and justice being in the hand of those who rule, no matter how seemingly unjust.

The West has to get right with the future of this awakening world in an erupting globe of people of color, that may be seeking their "justice."

Congressman James Clyburn...Defends Common Sense

Democratic Representative James Clyburn of South Carolina will be on a panel discussing how the black community can save itself from itself. On that panel will be the Chi-town Charlatan, Louis (Eugene X Walcott) Farrakhan, the self-proclaimed saviour to America's black community without rolling up a sleeve, just jackleg lip service...no malice intended, just calling him on his game...a con since the death of Elijah Muhammad, as I have qualified in previous articles.

That being said, also Mr. Muhammad's last public oration given, clearly hinged on two prophesies...the first that he was the last messenger to the Black Man of America, and secondly, to be aware of the false prophets coming down the pike, and I would think that includes Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, Sr., Al Sharpton, Eddie Long, and a few more that I don't have time and space on which to dwell.

Being that I know Louis Farrakhan from back in the day, I know what his objective is, and that's to be considered the ultimate "king of black folks" in America, which he then becomes what might be a position held by his "fellow ascetic" of Libya...whom I shall call "Quodaffy Duck One" for now I'm calling Louis, "Quodaffy Duck Two." A colleague e-mailed me two days ago that "Duck Two" received a billion dollars from "Duck One". Duck Two came back to America and said that this dough was going to be used to build "factories"...ain't seen bolt one yet. Duck Two probably pulled his biggest con with Duck One.

Therefore, in this ongoing dilemma, where "Duck One" has now become the "murderer from Libya"...let him and his family leave the country safely with just the clothes on their backs, and sent straight to "Duck Two's" compound in Chicago under permanent house arrest, in order that the billion dollars can be taxed sufficiently to cover Duck One's permanent security.
