Racism and Religiosity...the poisons of humanity

Black South African, Julius Malema, the leader of the African National Congress Youth Movement, is said to have fomented the anger of which Terreblanche, the former firebrand of the white Afrikaner Resistance Movement, was murdered by two of his black workers that he supposedly refused to compensate for their work...says what?

First and foremost, Julius Malema does not represent the vision nor the hope for the "Father" of a free South Africa, Nelson Mandela. Secondly, the display of righteous indignation on the part of white South Africans, no longer Afrikaners, using Nazi salutes and swastikas doesn't help to resolve the atrocious nature of the former "apartheid regime" in the minds of South Africans.

If, Julius Malema believes his now admired leader Robert Mugabe is on the right track, then he should leave South Africa with a one way ticket to Zimbabwe and allow the South Africans to continue to build a pathway to prosperity and modernity with the rest of civilization. Likewise, if those who feel they are not South Africans, but still Afrikaners, should get out of South Africa and go build their nation someplace on the face of the earth for Afrikaners only...highly unlikely they will find one, and simply become a pariah in the family of mankind.

Therefore, before this nation dishonors a man as noble and courageous as Mr. Nelson Mandela, crack down on these racists on both sides as well as any religious zealots that might be lurking about.

To Be The "Father of a Nation"?

We off-handedly refer to the "Founding Fathers" in American History but what does it mean to be a true and authentic "Father of a Nation" as I referred to Mr. Nelson Mandela of South Africa? I think I have seen the answer in film "The Color of Freedom" starring Joseph Fiennes and Dennis Haysbert, the Allstate rep in the televised commercials...a heck of a good job in the portrayal of this amazing man. I received my copy via Netflix...check it out.

In Agreement With The Conservative Governor

From the Roanoke Times, 4-12-10:

"McDonnell tells felons: write an essay to get voting rights"

"A draft proposal by McDonnell's administration would compel felons who want their rights back to tell the governor in writing about their crime, their rehabilitation and how they've contributed to society since doing their time."

On the previous page of the Tribune Online, I spoke out about the proclamation by Governor McDonnell in the declaration of April as being Confederate History Month. Not only did it lack forethought and common sense as to its effects in dividing blacks and whites of the state of Virginia, but it was presented with this myopia, that this month was to celebrate the ancestors in their virtuous stand to destroy the USA with the centuries of torture, rape, murder, and forced labor of the ancestors of blacks be damned. I repeat, this is not only hypocritical but just stump-jumping stupid. A nation, state, city, or community will not make progress toward goals beneficial for most if not all by concocting that which divides.

Now, onto this current declaration to compel felons to write an essay to regain their rights after doing their time...a damn good idea. Those who carelessly toss away their freedom and rights by assaulting free society should have to earn their way back with some individual input other than languishing for months or years with three hots and a cot. Use that time and tell why you got yourself into this jam, what you've learned, and what you will contribute to society as opposed to preying on it...which has only caused recidivism to rise across the nation at a very expensive and budget-busting price tag. Good politicians are successful because they will put common sense over ideology, no matter how personal.

Confederate History Month...Opportune Time for Reconsideration of Reparations

Since the states of Mississippi and Virginia have foisted upon the descendants of slaves from these states the mental anguish that comes with the celebration honoring the Confederacy, and since the Governor of Mississippi stated the issue was much ado about nothing as determined in his outlook, maybe it's time to show it's much more than an issue about nothing with a class action suit against these designated states for said mental anguish that comes each time the "celebrated month" resurrects itself.

I am not an attorney, but I am sure there are some legal beagles out there who might want to look into this matter to see how much money they can sue these two states for this arbitrary action in terms of proven descendants of slaves from Mississippi and Virginia being able to seek reparations for the present repercussions that their ancestors had to undergo during this tragic time in American history.

E-mail at infobuck@juno.com to find out more and how you may be able to participate either as an attorney or descendant.

Define "Stump-Jumping Stupid"...

Ok, let's give it a shot. I have already received a number of inquiries about the potential class action suits against the states of Mississippi and Virginia, with this arbitrary and foisted celebratory month for the Confederacy. Just this morning, I heard Rush "off at the mouth" Limbaugh declaring that the "Teabaggers and Conservatives" are not driven by racism, whatsoever, but patriotism and taking the country back...in so many words. I consider his daily diatribe as well as that of his associated minions, including Sarah Palin, no more than an emerging sect with close relativity to the former "Confederate States of America" of which there is a wonderful satirical film, co-produced by Spike Lee with the same title. You can check it out by ordering from Netflix.

Let's do a quick American history lesson. There have only been two forces that attempted to destroy the good old USA...the British Forces (came close to doing it) and the Confederacy forces. From this the term traitor became synonymous to one Benedict Arnold for conspiring with the British and of course the British conspired with the Confederacy during the Civil War. If we can apply simple logic, should the Confederate soldiers be considered any less of a traitor than Benedict Arnold?

Along come Governors "Dumb and Dumber" who want to promote this farce of sedition as something to be remembered for generations instead of saying that this was a huge mistake against America and Americans. You would have thought these two "conservatives" that Limbaugh lauds would have done some elementary homework before getting into potential suits that may put the taxpayers of both states in financial jeopardy for years to come.

Therefore, "Stump-Jumping Stupid"...Governors of Mississippi and Virginia. Who knows, like Benedict Arnold the phrase might become synonymous to their traitorous discord.

The 2010 Election

The message from conservatives is quite clear to you eligible but non-voting participants, sit on your lazy "passes" and you can expect a double dose of that which is coming down the pike. Currently, there are demonstrations in Arizona that are getting beyond the pale with unruly violent activity over the "stop and drop" legislation. Is this the way to deal with the issue? Absolutely not. Let's look at some Black History for a second in America.

Blacks were forced to non-violently protest at a time when they had no access to the ballot box in many states. The non-violent protests erupted into violent riots because the one man who was trying to lead the nation out of the chaotic mess was gunned down...the rest is academic.

I, for one, think these protests by both angry Teabaggers and angry Hispanics serve no useful purpose when there is lawful access to the ballot box...of which Blacks did not have years ago. Unfortunately, as with many of us today, Blacks won't get off of their lazy "passes" and vote in every election of which they are eligible.

Consequently, those Blacks who continue to bow out of elections, will see an increase in "Confederate History Months". Those Browns who will choose not to vote in 2010...your "pass" will be grass.

The solution to this chaos? Vote!! I might add that you may want to vote for those with the Obama's stamp of approval.

"Taking Our Country Back"!!

A misdirected emphasis in historical evolution uttered by the pea-brained teabaggers...just goes to show how astute most of these dummies are. There is no such thing as going back for any society. Either you continue to progress, with divine guidance (not religiosity) or perish with the passing of time. What makes any of you imbeciles think it's any different for the USA. Going back simply implies that there was something better in the past of human evolution; and if you took a real look based on historical reality, you will most assuredly find there was not. The salvation for any society lies in its future and how it pursues that future by learning from the mistakes of the past. Therefore, what divine gift does mankind have to salvage his existence and improve his world for a better future?

British Neurophysicist, W. Grey Walters said "at least ten billion electronic cells would be needed to build a facsimile of man's brain. These cells would occupy about a million and a half cubic feet, and several additional millions of cubic feet would be needed for the "nerves" or wiring. Power required to operate it would be one billion watts." The UNCF's slogan "a mind is a terrible thing to waste" quantifies the destruction of as well as qualifies an insult for this divine gift...thus, why societies bite the dust
