What Constitutes A Leader?

Rio wins the Olympic Bid. Let's render a salute to a tremendous competitor and deserving winner. After all, Rio has shown itself to be a world wide attraction with its annual celebration of Carnival. It has also entered the world stage where North America, Europe, and Asia have already been hosts...welcome South America!! Lastly, Rio's win does not diminish President Obama's leadership in the free world by an iota, for Theodore Roosevelt best critiques what it is to be a leader as shown in the article below in applying the "Entrepreneurial Spirit" which  quintessentially embodies the Olympics.

Lest ye forget...

Listening to so-called conservatives such as Limbaugh, Gingrich, and Levin brand Judge Sotomayor a "racist" is like  the pot calling the kettle black. Recollection shows the Supreme Court as being an all "white male bastion of justice" since the founding of this nation until the appointment of Justice Thurgood Marshall. Until then, a major portion of the US citizenry found little or no justice since the abolition of slavery, with decisions such as Plessy v Ferguson, upholding states' rights which maintained the inhuman black codes, blocking the right to vote, territorial lynchings, apartheid(never separate but equal... by law), and many more unjust provocations. American history's excuse was that the nation's social and moral fabric didn't know any better.  Mark Levin, along with others, who have  mischaracterized Judge Sotomayor's statement as one against white people is an ugly fabrication and his being a Jew, should know that Jews are never really considered white people (Aryan) in the world, and consequently, should be most mindful of his legacy. As for Judge Clarence Thomas(a so-called black conservative), he was and will most likely be seen as no more than a "tool" used to stall or undermine the progress this nation has made in terms of liberty and justice for those minorities least served, and an attempted return to the  days of white male supremacy. Therefore, America has to ask itself, can the destiny of this abundantly qualified Latina to the Supreme Court be its conscience saying "lest ye forget the past"?

Right-Wing Conservatism fostering Anti-Semitism

...but...but...Rush Limbaugh is only a political radio talk show host that's an entertainer. Yeah, and Adolph Hitler was just a political paper-hanger into artwork. You see what kind of damage he eventually caused. As far as Mark Levin is concerned with his best-selling book, if he substituted the word "Jew" in place of the term "statist" he would be able to see how his "ism" is unwittingly inflicting damage ultimately to himself as well as his brothers and sisters.

Apology...Shallow; Reparations...Sacrilegious

The Senate voted to an admission of this nation's atrocity against people of African descent. Words instead of deeds at this stage of America's legacy is like trying to bring back the deceased by rubbing the body down with alcohol. The activity may make the person applying the alcohol feel as though they are making a good faith effort, but it is totally futile. For politicians both black and white to try to put a monetary or dollar amount to this beyond human atrocity is even worse. What dollar amount could anyone come up with that would wipe the slate clean or redeem the souls of those enslaved, tortured, raped and murdered? This stigma on the soul of America can't and should never be able to be cleansed for all eternity, for this is not simply a "born again" religious do-over. Know that this country exists because of the price paid by our unfortunate ancestors who were the sufferers of this inhuman abomination for as long as this nation exists...if not longer. This history is beyond America's and the world's realm but in the universal realm of time that is endless.

John McCain's theory on America's "Moral Authority"...Simply "Meddling"?

Let's face it, America no longer carries the banner of moral authority around the world but simply that of hypocritical meddling when it suits our purposes. Started with Vietnam and the domino theory, into Chile, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, now back into Iran???... when we are still bogged down in the Middle East and possibly could have to deal with a real global threat in the Far East like North Korea? This Republican Party led by these political fools are out to "destroy" our democratic republic from their insane high horse of self-righteousness, religiosity, and hypocrisy. I thought John McCain was above this but it evidently appears he has one cup too many of rhetorical "kool-aid".  Come on John, stop with the politics already, and restore your position as the strong, patriotic American we all know you to be...support our President.

Race Baiting and Right Wing Politics...

In recent diatribes by right wing radio talk show hosts in which scurrilous assertions made by Mark Levin that Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor was against white people and Glenn Beck claiming that President Obama had some deep seated animosity against "white culture" shows the depths to which this subculture would sink to undermine American society. After all, what is white culture? Could it range from the white Aryan supremacists ditto heads of which Rush Limbaugh has built his following to the white trash of the KKK led by psychotic individuals such as David Duke? Come to find out, he and the little Hitlerite in Iran both share a mutual admiration for the German sociopath.

If these elements are indicative of white culture, then American culture should not only be alarmed but outraged by this affront to humanity here and around the world. I say this in light of the recent death of Senator Kennedy who best typifies what it is to be a great American with a life of self sacrifice to make "the dream" a reality for mankind.

These white people that Mark Levin refers to, considering he's a Jew and is not considered white by this brood, and Glenn Beck who hopes to build a following by race baiting conjecture, should know that this "white culture" of which he refers is less than 1% of humanity on this globe. I don't think Europeans, at least those with some worldly knowledge don't or won't allow themselves to be minimized into this feeble 1% and most certainly the remaining 99% of humanity composed primarily of cultures of color will not allow themselves to be overtaken by such a sociopathic minority.

The reality is that your continued political race-baiting could ultimately work to your demise in the eyes of the rest of the world.

The Cowards of Right Wing Radio 

In the vain of which Congressman Joe Wilson decided to lob his verbal bomb, characteristic of individuals with little intelligent control of their emotions, as likewise exhibited by Rapper Kanye West, which he was just a drunken fool exhibiting "street stupidity", makes me wonder about Joe Wilson's state of mind. People like Mr. Wilson, more prominently popping up attacking the President at the various meeting halls and now in the halls of Congress typify this street thuggery exhibited by the "gangsta" crudeness of young impressionable fools like West, although brilliant in otherwise social entertainment.

This brings me to the cowardly entertainers on right-wing, radio talk shows, starting with the clown prince Limbaugh to the minions of Hannity, Levin, Boortz, and some women whom I will not name for it is ungentlemanly to accost women (got that Kanye!). But these so-called "saviours of America" are true cowards. They never considered joining the military and putting their lives on the line, let alone spending sometime in a war zone like true correspondents such as Walter Cronkite.

They constantly berate the President on every effort he's making to restore our nation to a place respected by the rest of the world. Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, and Boortz have challenged him to debate his positions while they are safely hunkered down behind their microphones. The President has boldly stepped to the plate, putting his life, family, fortune, and ideas before the world. So, to you windbag blowhards, you talk show cowards, you show plenty of hot air by throwing stones and hiding your hands. Why don't one of you cowards run for the office of the President? Foolish me!! You live in a glass house and got no "stones"... just suckers on the street listening to your cowardly aspersions.

Rush Limbaugh's Capitalist America of Tomorrow... 

Blacks, Jews, Hispanics, Native Americans, East Europeans, Middle East, Indian, Asian races need not apply for positions of authority, for they would be classed as subservient "ne'er do wells". This means quasi-whites such as Mark Levin, Matt Drudge, Neal Boortz, Michael Savage, and other Jews would be out of work overnight as well as Catholics such as Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Laura Ingram who are not of a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant "heritage" foundation. Rush Limbaugh's Capitalist America...sociopathy disguised as a"fuzz ball".

America...A Strong Nation of Freedom and Justice 

The right wing fearmongers are at it again by trying to paint a picture of doubt and uncertainty led by the Judas Goats mentioned in the previous article. Let's reflect historically on how this nation has dealt with terrorists in the past, starting with one case that I am personally familiar in my former hometown of Mobile, AL. It was the case of the KKK terrorists who murdered a black man and hung him in a tree to send a message of fear and alarm. They were tried in open court, found guilty, with the main culprit who carried out this barbaric act, executed. The next is the case of the right wing, white terrorist Timothy McVeigh who bombed the Federal Building in Oklahoma, tried in open court, found guilty and executed. The latest is the case of the left wing, black terrorist John A. Muhammad, the infamous DC sniper, tried in open court, found guilty and executed. Do you see a pattern here that shows the world that we are an open and free society but a country that will mete out the appropriate justice as required? For the right wing mouth pieces to suggest anything less reveals a sense of cowardly, personal guilt for not wanting to be open and representative of the freedom and justice of which is this nation's foundation.        

America's Bountiful Future

No, it will not be mining for precious metals but for precious ideas from the minds of intelligent men and women who have developed a good educational foundation of which these ideas will emanate. It will not be the marketing schemes of major corporations as shown on many televised commericals. For example, IBM used to market some scheme that it discovered supposedly in the Scandinavian alps the idea of providing electromagnetic force for "floating rail travel"...never got off the drawing board...at least while I was working for them. However, they took every legal step they could in not only stealing a practical concept I provided to them and went on to apply it as though they(IBM) thought of it upon my leaving. I have since used the second part of the concept to develop my own business, which is doing quite well...Thank you very much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXtrtw26L64  However, I did win a settlement against IBM for the first part of said concept that is logged in the archives of the Federal Court. It was not a major corporation that altered the future of computerization but individuals such as Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. This will be said of other individuals creating new and even more bountiful concepts such as Gates and Jobs as opposed to major corporations such as IBM.

I spoke briefly with a young student from one of the local colleges in the Roanoke Valley who resides in California. In the discussion, the potential shortage of water was briefed with the application of desalinization to use water from the ocean to supplement that coming from the Colorado River. This concept is already used on naval vessels with nuclear power. So the concept? Why not small nuclear powered generators to run the desalinization plants on islets off the coast and pumped to shore? I understand the pros and cons are being contemplated...
