"Capitalism: A Love Story"

This is the title of a documentary by director Michael Moore, known for other documentaries about General Motors, Gun Violence, the 9/11 Attack, Healthcare Issues and probably some more that I may not have seen. I happened on this particular documentary because it is one of the many features available through "Netflix" of which I am a member.

I am not a particular fan of Mr. Moore's work because the films seem to always be about victims of our "free society"...people that we might characterize as "weak," "whiney losers" who won't seize control of their destiny for one reason or another despite the opportunities that abound...whether it be race, poverty, physically or mentally challenged, I don't know...you pick the crutch.

I often make references to situations within my military excursion and I guess that's because that was my first exposure to real life when I left home for boot camp. It was unlike anything I may have seen on television or read about. You could really get killed, wounded, or seriously hurt in some sort of accident. That never truly sank in as a kid. There's no rewind, back-up, or do-over to make it go away. While at boot camp, I heard of guys drowning during the various training exercises, people getting killed or severly injured during shipboard deployments, and one particular situation stays forever in my mind.

Upon arriving at a duty station out west, in what was called an attack squadron, we were given an orientation walk-around in the hangars maintaining the aircraft. This chief petty officer drilled us on always staying alert, and I mean always until it became "general quarters" on the brain. He cited never play around and pull the ejection lever that's located behind the pilot's head. Unfortunately, some young fool didn't believe him, and "accidentally" pulled it...and "splat", right into the hangar ceiling...killing him. Although the figure of speech, "splat" is used, it was no cartoon...it was real life.

I have since learned a heck of lot more about real life, in my getting older and wiser, and that is, "life" will kick you in the teeth every chance it gets...that's just the nature of life. It reminds me of the tale of the scorpion who conned the frog into carrying him across the pond...I digress. Living in a "free society" not typical of most other societies around the globe, brings with it a "seabag" filled with problems and challenges.

I am no "bleeding heart," nor am I trying to save the world, I am just another slob trying to survive and secure my loved ones as most Americans are. I know I only have a limited amount of time on planet earth to do this, before pushing up her daisies. I also know that as surely as there is a God, that God helps those who attempt to help themselves... first. If you don't take the first step or make the initial dive...God help you. 

"The Architecture of Doom"

This is another recommended film to watch that's available via "Netflix"...and why?? Leading American Conservative, Rush Limbaugh, has made known his desire to see Obama fail and it's obvious that it's because Obama is a black man despite having a white American mother. America's "one drop" nullifies that and don't think it doesn't still matter today. The animus coming from the "T-bags" falls into the same category when assailing our President and his administration. It's not the economy, or Islamic terrorism, or the healthcare bill of rights, or the stimulus passage, or Wall Street Reform...it's RACE!!

The idea of a black man becoming the President of the United States(something most, if not all so-called conservatives...primarily racists...never thought could happen knowing this nation's history about race) and correcting our nation's disasters that WHITE MEN got us into over the last decades, has not only something to do with driving this issue, but it has absolutely everything to do with it. I say this with personal proof in my working with IBM...go back and read the story.

American Conservatives are no more than forked-tongue devils from those who advocate the buying of gold instead of bonds, and hoping the economy fails is just one piece of evidence, but the biggest piece would be the off shore tax scofflaws evading their legal support of our nation's financial sovereignty. Race has been the tempest in this teapot of America's ill-gotten brew for centuries and still is alive and well. It is as if the American Conservatives are telling the world, we'd rather drown in a sea of distress before being saved by a "Nigger"!! (sorry, had to bring it home).

As far as these wild ideas about healthcare legislature, you will see where they originated, after watching the film "The Architecture of Doom". This film clearly depicts how Germany's leading conservative, "old Adolph" got the ball rolling in eventually wiping out six million, of which the two Jews of conservative talk radio, Levin and Boortz, may have lost relatives. Yes, Hitler used his version of the German "T-Bags" to do it. Nevertheless, it is an interesting correlation with the political philosphy of today's American conservatives. Their desire to "bait and switch" by tagging the Obama Administration with this diabolical direction just will not carry water.

 Again, I suggest that the Obama Administration take a more active and public role in going after these forked-tongue devils by implementing an executive order to hunt down the scofflaws and get back America's tax proceeds. That's my suggestion after formerly working with a man that proved to be far more ethical than IBM. Oh yeah, he was a black man and if you didn't know by now, he knew a little bit about "devils."      

Affirmative Action...

"Affirmative action was in fact a program designed to level the playing field and reimburse the descendants of slaves for the injustices of mandated ignorance and racial disadvantages in getting decent employment; forty acres and a mule, if you will. However, many blacks were not pursuing the real challenges of going to school, developing their own independent economic influence but wound up in many instances of opting for welfare checks, escape through drug use, and that super-fly bullsh*t which eventually became the rap market. Affirmative action became a free for all for everybody except the healthy white American male; thus, I can see why they want to bring it to an end. You name the group and nine times out of ten they will qualify for some of that federal money. If black people in America would have held to the philosophy of Booker T. Washington, who by the way was greatly admired by Marcus Garvey, they would have in fact been a mainstream instead of drowning in it. If you get enough capital, you can live, work, raise a family in just about any f-----g place you desire in this country. Now, there are some exceptions but there always will be in real life, get used to it."
